课程简介：
Computer Science（Session A）：The Internet is integral to our daily lives, in ways both obvious and not. Yet not many of us know how this technology works or know the legal and public policy issues which have a direct bearing on our use of this technology. This course will explore some of the cutting edge legal and public policy issues concerning the Internet and telecommunications. Issues to be explored include: Network Neutrality, Wi-Fi, Mobile Networks, and Over-the-Top Convergence. No previous experience with computers or law necessary.
计算机科学：互联网已经或多或少地成为我们日常生活中已经必不可少的因素了。然后我们当中很多人并不了解这项技术是如何运作，也不知道这项合法的公共设施是如何直接地影响我们的生活的。通过学习这个课程，你将学习互联网和电讯的知识。待发展的事项包括网络中立性，WI-FI，手机网络，媒介融合。学习该课程不需求电脑或者法律知识的储备。
Electrical Engineering（Session B）：An introduction to information transmission and storage and their impact on society. Technological issues and trade-offs that affect the design of digital systems. Elementary circuits and computer logic; sensors and actuators; signal processing and design for data transmission; information transmission on the World Wide Web. Projects include analysis and design using MATLAB. Intended for students in the humanities and social sciences and for freshmen considering a major in electrical engineering. No prerequisite other than a working knowledge of algebra.
